Team Cannondale-RH racing

LAVARONE (TN) - After a week of bad weather the sun finally came out to heat this "100 Km dei Forti" and to illuminate the double podium conquered today by Cannondale RH-Racing with Roel Paulissen and Johannes Schweiggl.

As for the race on the "Classic" route, of 55 km and 1250 meters in altitude, Johannes Schweiggl and Emanuele Crisi were on the road, the latter returning after a one and a half month forced stop. Precisely for this Emanuele has made available to Johannes helping him in the various stages of the race. It was then Johannes, who played for the podium in the final of the race managing to get an important and motivating second place. Good job guys!

On the "Marathon", 103 km long and 2800 meters in altitude, we had Roel Paulissen, Mattia Longa and Roberto Crisi on the starting grid.
Roel has once again shown that he has an excellent "leg", as they say in the jargon, making himself the author of a beautiful performance that leads him to close the race in third place despite two technical problems that have slowed him down.

"I come home happy and satisfied today - comments Roel - of my current condition. I come from two Sundays without races and I had to skip Ortler because of a seasonal illness so I did not know my current form. Despite the two drawbacks I closed the race in third place and this makes me hope for the Sellaronda Hero next Saturday ".
