RusVelo track and road rider Artur Ershov won the points race gold medal at the UCI Track World champioships in Paris as the best team’s achievement so far. He finished a single point ahead of the Spaniard Eloy Teruel and two points clear of the German Maximilian Beyer in an all-out battle till the very last meter of this extremely exciting 160-laps long race. Then came an official confirmation of the results, and Ershov rode a lap of honor with a Russian flag over his shoulders.
