RusVelo rider Roman Maikin came in third in the sprint battle of stage two of the UCI 2.1  Tour of Croatia. 180 km between the cities of Sibenik and Zadar finished in a couple of tight, highly technical city laps. The win, to the great elation of the local fans, was taken by Marko Kump from the Slovenian Adria Mobil, the strongest team of all licensed in post-Yugoslavian states. Pawel Franczak (Poland, Active Jet) was second.

2015, April 26th.
RusVelo rider Roman Maikin came in third in the fifth and final stage of the Tour of Croatia, set between the cities of Sveti Martin and Zagreb over 177 km-long predominantly flat course with a technical cobblestone uphill finish. The winner took it all, or very nearly all – Pacej Paterski (CCC – Sprandi – Polkowice) won his second stage in the race, confirmed himself as number one in the general standings as well as in the points and king of the mountains classifications. Austrian Felix Grosschartner (Felbermayr – Simplon Wels) came in second.
