RusVelo rider Alexander Evtushenko took the Gold Medal at the U-23 time trial Russian National Championship.
2015, June 26th.
RusVelo rider Artem Nych swapped his last year’s bronze for this year’s gold in the U-23 road race of the Russian nationals, held in the city of Saransk. He soloed to the line ahead of his breakaway companions Nikolay Cherkasov (Tiymen region) and Aidar Zakarin (Tatarstan). Yet another RusVelo rider Mamyr Stash won the sprint for 4th.

RusVelo rider Artem Ovechkin is back on the top step of the podium of the Russian elite time trial championships. Today the battle was hard, and for a long hilly course (56 km in 1.12’00” at an average of 46.661 kmh) the gaps between Ovechkin and the other two medal winners, Sergey Nikolayev (ITERA – Katusha) and Pavel Brutt (Tinkoff-Saxo), 22 and 24 seconds respectively, didn’t look really huge.
